Earth Day 2016
To celebrate Earth Day 2016 we
engaged in a mini-beast hunt. We searched for the following: caterpillar,
ladybird, fly, spider, dragonfly, earwig, worm, woodlouse & bee. We spotted
lots of these in the school yard and gardens. We also prepared more planters
and we placed the flower boxes onto the window cills. We looked at ways in
which we can further enhance our planet. This was done through story, poetry,
interactive presentations and the use of photographs. Lots of fun was had using
the globe. We respect and cherish our planet on a constant basis and are proud
to do so.
